Longeviety Genius Conference


This was Dr David Hamilton, he spoke of how to heal your body with your mind. Apparantly the body cannot distinguish whether it is having an experience or you are imagining it with your mind. A good example of this is a man getting an erection by fantasizing ;) He gave an example of people healing themselves through visualising.
He said when we show love and affection to others that everyone benefits by getting a boost of the happy hormone oxytocin including anybody that is watching. Hugging softens hardened arteries around the heart! So ''A Hug A Day Keeps The Cardiologist Away'' were his last words as he closed his highly informitive and entertaining speech.

Next up was David Wolfe, he spoke of the medicinal power of foods. The immunity boosting power mushrooms such as chaga, reishi and cordyceps. And also simple things like the healing compuonds in brocolli and avocado. He talked about cleansing the body and other cures such as DMSO for arthritis.

And last was Dr John Demartini, he is a human behavour specailist. He spoke of his own inspiring story of how he against all odds and with dyslexia became so successful and by doing so he inspires others to do the same. He says to have a vision for yourself and not to compromise on it.

Tasty Treats


This is the birthday cake from my friends birthday party last week. He got the recipe from an Allisa Cohen book, its a Black Forest Gatoux. It was really tasty, rich and moist like a BFG.




A guy who comes into the health shop I work in bought me in a huge bag of herbs he picked from his garden. There is rosemary, thyme, sage, chives, mint, and a cucumber & tomatoes. I was delighted with this gift, this man is so nice. Last week he gave me a basil plant. Here is a pic of some of the herbs I used in a soup, also in the soup was the meat of half a coconut, carrot juice, ginger, garlic, & tumeric.



And here are some juicing ingredients, I aim to have at least 2 litres of juice everyday.

Raw Food Transformation


I am delighted to be working with and documenting the progress and transformation of my friend Martin O Regan. We began this new chapter on monday 26th sept 2011 and we're going to post weekly weights and measurements until Martin is where he wants to be. At the moment he is about 22 stone and his measurements are:



52'' waist
47'' hips
48'' chest
26'' upper leg
16'' upper arm

I am diet-coaching & personal-training Martin. His diet will consist of raw, organic, vegan nutrient dense foods, with an emphasis on juices and superfoods. Martin has also taken up exercise, which will be helped by the energy he'll have from his new diet.

On the first week of Martin's new healthy lifestyle his measurements are as follows:

Week 3 and he has dropped 3 stone!!

Green Juice Day


Green Juice Day
(with a sprinkle of Bee Pollen :)

Ingredients- juice of black radishs, tumeric, apples, celery, corgette, cucumber & spinach. Then its blended up with vitamineral green powder + ormus greens + the inner gel from an aloe vera leaf + flax oil.

And its so nice that I am spoon feeding it to myself :)

Juice Feast Day 4

I felt grand today, had an organic facial & did a spinning class. Tomorrow I'll have a colonic.

Today I had

~ 3 litres of coconut water mixed with a green powder mix of spirulina, chlorella, wheatgrass & barleygrass

~bee-pollen, hemp oil & acai powder mixed together, yummm!


~ apple, cucumber, burdock root, fennel & clemintine juice with aloe vera gel & green powder, camu camu & hemp oil.

Juice Feast Day 3

I did a spinning class this evening, it felt good to get moving again :)

Today I've had

~ apple, clemintine & cucumber juice blended with aloe vera gel & hemp oil & powdered greens
~ pinapple, orange & celery juice blended with acai powder
~ orange, pineapple celery, spinach & burdock-root juice blended with hemp oil & aloe vera gel
~ orange juice, celery spinach & burdock-root juice

Juice Feast Day 2

I slept deeply last night in-between getting up to the toilet a few times due to the amount of liquids I consumed. I haven't exercised yet, my head wants to but my body doesn't, I'll see tomorrow

Today I've had

~ apple, mandarin, celery, cucumber juice blender with aloe gel, black-seed oil & camu powder
~ apple, mandarin, cucumber juice blended with black-seed oil & a mixture of spirulina- chlorella- wheatgrass & barleygrass powder
~ broth made with warm water & miso paste, strained & then added cucumber, onion & garlic juice

New Year Juice Feast

I am embarking on a good old juice feast to bring in the New Year. On this one I'll not have any bee-pollen as it starts up my digestive system & its hard to have just a spoon or two. I eat the savory juices from a bowl with a spoon like a soup, which makes it easier.
Today I've had

~ apple, mandarin & ginger juice blended with fresh aloe vera gel, black-seed oil & camu powder
~ juice of 2 cucumber, celery, brocolli, garlic, red onion & ginger
~ apple, cucumber, mandarin & spinach juice blended with camu powder & black-seed oil
Tomorrow I'll get back into exercising after a long break over Christmas.
